This is my pet. after having several accounts with 4 pets on it i decided it was much easier to just have one neopet so this is the pet i chose. I got him on July 1st 2000. He's a Green Zafara named Jade_Storm.

Helpful Hints and Secrets:

Open a Shop as soon as possible. Look for cheap priced goods by using the shop wizard then sell them for slightly higher to make a quick profit. don't overprice your items though always try to be within the top 5 on the shop wizard.

Play at odd hours of the day/night. around 2 am PST the site has much much less traffic than around noon or so and finding bargains and rare items is much much much easier.

Feed your pet when it is hungry or it will die.

Don't spend too much on quests. If the faeries ask for an ultra rare item simply say i don't want to do this quest and wait a few minutes to select another.

Don't spend too much on items. Always always, always shop around. use the shop wizard or just check around the market place to find the best deals.

When your pet says "thanks for playing but all the other pets have more toys than me" then go out and buy him a new toy and sell your old toy in your shop.

Feed your neopet his favorite foods.

Read to your neopet to increase his intelligence. he can read about 1 book every 15 minutes.

Don't sell things like food and faeries. It's much much wiser to store them in your safety deposit box and use them later even if you don't need them right now.

Be nice to your fellow players and staff members. Some of them may be willing to help you out if you're down on your luck.

If you're low on money visit the money tree. you can only take one donation a day. also visit the soup kitchen for free food.

If you are low on money play chia bingo or hide and go seek for free to earn some neopoints.

Refer your friends. This is the biggest way to make money. Your friends must play the site and must be different people signing up fake accounts will not work.

Be sure to be there as soon as the shops restock otherwise you'll miss out the shops restock every 15 minutes. so they'd restock every hour on the hour, 15 after, half an hour, and a quarter til. The shops sell out unbelivably fast so don't miss out.
